Hahah! Thanks Kristin. About 2 weeks ago two people were walking behind me and thought I couldn’t hear them (my headphones were on but the music was in between songs) and one of them said “If she wasn’t so fat I would photograph her for my fashion blog” to which I responded by whipping myself around, blocking their path and throwing my hands up with middle fingers thrust in their faces and said “FUCK YOU AND YOUR BLOGGG, BITTTCHHHHHH!” and walked away. Last week one of them saw me outside my classroom and approached me trying to apologise for the comment and I stopped them and said “your apology is as bogus as your blog” and blew smoke in their face. I am an obnoxious fat stylish glitter bitch and I will call you out if your apology only exists because you got CAUGHT and TOLD and I will not let you talk about my fat negatively or link it to my style negatively, ALRIGHT. DUH.

Room 301I wrote a speech about colonialism, gentrification and street harassment for this event; I basically track Western models of public space all the way back to the model of the Greek agora. I won’t actually be giving this speech myself because I’ll be at a punk wedding, but I might post it on tumblr soon.
This event is my brain child brought to life by the hard work by lots of folks, including Suzy. I can’t believe it’s really going to happen!
